As an education and therapeutic consultant, I specialise in helping young people redefine their educational and lifestyle choices to better align with their long-term ambitions. My work is rooted in my expertise in neuro-linguistic programming and cognitive-behavioural therapy, key tools I use to address the complex issues associated with addiction and personal development.
I grew up in Oxford and attended a private school there before attending the University of Sydney for my higher education, where I earned my doctorate.
My takeaway from education is that tailoring programs to individuals will unlock their full potential; people flourish under the right circumstances.
My career in counseling and coaching began during my years as a teacher and was further influenced by my volunteer work with individuals dealing with substance use disorder – a major area of focus in my PhD research, which investigated the links between creativity, dopamine, and addiction. This research has significantly shaped my therapeutic practices, providing a scientifically backed foundation for the strategies I develop.
My referrals typically come from family doctors or psychiatrists who value my comprehensive approach and have confidence in my ability to provide the necessary support.
I begin my engagement with clients by assessing our compatibility over an initial conversation, which sets the stage for a successful therapeutic relationship.
Once we start working together, I provide ongoing support and guidance to help each client make progress towards their objectives.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I have a wide range of personal interests and achievements. I have served as ESPN’s Manchester United correspondent and authored several publications. I actively participate in various sports, including running marathons. I hold three different nationalities and am fluent in French, which adds a global perspective to my work.
I’m dedicated to helping you find your way and achieve your goals. Let’s collaborate to get your life back on track.
